David R. Sneed is the owner and principal of David R. Sneed Consulting, LLC dba DRS Consultants. His background reflects 40+ years of fire investigation experience in both the Public Sector as a Fire Marshal/Investigator and in the Private Sector as a Professional Fire/Explosion Investigator/Consultant.

Mr. Sneed has distinguished himself as a proven leader representing the fire investigation profession as the President of a number of local, state and international professional organizations. As a past Director and President of the International Association of Arson Investigators, he remains active in the profession, serving in various positions working for the continual improvement of the fire investigation profession. He currently serves as an instructor at various fire investigation seminars across the country.

Mr. Sneed proudly holds the International Association of Arson Investigators Certified Fire Investigator (IAAI-CFI) certification and the California Conference of Arson Investigators Certified Fire Investigator (CCAI-CFI) certification. Over the past 40+ years, he has continually qualified as an expert witness in fire and explosion investigation in Civil and Criminal proceedings in both State and Federal Courts.

Jeremy R. Cosgrove is a third-generation fire and explosion investigator and father of four. Over the past 15 years, Mr. Cosgrove has distinguished himself as an expert in all fields of fire investigation with a specialty in the investigation of motor vehicles: personal, recreational, commercial, industrial, and agricultural equipment. During his career, Mr. Cosgrove has investigated over 1500 fire incidents, including structural and vehicle fires and explosions.

Mr. Cosgrove has Undergraduate Degrees in Fire Protection Technology and Fire Investigation and a Master of Arts Degree in Fire Investigation. He is a Certified Fire Investigator through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection, the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI-CFI,CFIV), and the National Association of Fire Investigators (CFEI, CVFI). He is an active member of the American Society for Testing and Materials, ASTM E30 Forensic Sciences Committee, and the E30.11 Subcommittee on Interdisciplinary Forensic Science Standards. In addition, Mr. Cosgrove holds an ASE certification as an Automotive Maintenance and Repair Technician.
